Bedford.Pet

Bedford.Pet is primarily Robert, so you’ll get his personal attention. Gracious customer service is ingrained in him, and solving problems comes naturally. In NYC over twenty years, he’s lived in four of the five boroughs and now calls Brooklyn home.

Relocating a newborn calf hidden in the pasture grass to a barn, safe from coyotes!

Robert spent summers on his uncle’s farm where he helped care for the cattle, chickens, field dogs, and barn cats. He’s successfully trained many dogs, and will instill good behavior in every pooch he spends time with! Teaching obedience to basic commands and calm cooperation while walking on lead, including learning to heel.

Now pampering his own elder cat, Jett, rescued as a hungry kitten in Flatbush. Certified for TNR (trap, neuter, release), population control of feral cat colonies. He cared for several dogs and cats while growing up, and owned more over the years. His parents loved grumpy English Bulldogs, then owned a brilliant Rottweiler and a breeding pair of Bullmastiffs.

Robert personally raised two loyal black Labrador Retrievers and a rescued Beagle. He also rehabilitated and trained a traumatized and ferocious pit bull terrier that every other foster rejected! He’s always been a trusted pet uncle for friends and neighbors, throughout his life. He’s that person at parties who’ll always find the dog to play with, or the cat to pet!
